Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse Review – Pros & cons
Pros
The Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse features highly sensitive and precise laser technology. It has excellent range and responds very well to your movements, even without a mouse pad.
The unique scroll wheel has 2 distinct speed modes: normal and extra fine. The mouse even detects the length of the document in the application you are viewing and switches scroll speeds automatically.
The mouse is highly customizable, with plenty of well-placed buttons and the scroll wheel featuring a right and left tilt for additional choices. The integrated search button opens up a search engine of your choice (e.g. Google, Yahoo, Spotify) when clicked on a highlighted word. There’s even an additional scroll wheel (the “Quick Flip”) in the thumb groove which you can rotate and click to switch between currently open applications.
As for ergonomics, the Logitech mouse MX Revolution does not disappoint. This large, full-sized mouse has a highly-distinct design that fits both small and large hands. Many customers claim that this is the most comfortable mouse they have ever used.
The MX Revolution Logitech has no shortage of fans. With over 400 favorable reviews on Amazon.com alone, this has been one of the most popular wireless laser mice over the years. The following are snippets of just 2 highly positive customer testimonials on Amazon.com:
“…The combination of great ergonomics, the thumb toggle on the side (which feels great, and hasn’t been replicated by Logitech since), the auto-switch scrolling (which works surprisingly well when you set it to the lightest switch sensitivity–it’s like Apple’s momentum scrolling, but in hardware), and accurate tracking makes this the mouse to beat…(continued)”
“…I’m a graphic artist and web developer, and have to be searching for the perfect mouse for 20 years. I found it in the MX Revolution. In fact, I have nothing bad to say about it…I highly recommend this mouse…The MX Revolution is definitely worth every penny (and it is not an inexpensive mouse)…(continued)”

Cons
A pretty significant drawback is the high price of this product, as it has officially been discontinued by Logitech. Though initially available for less than $100, the price has since gone up in various stores thanks to its scarcity today. Nonetheless, if you can afford to shell out the cash, you may find the investment well worth it. Take a look at the following snippet of Amazon.com testimonial from a happy owner of the mouse:
“… After being so used to being able to fully control volume, back and forth buttons and everything else I can’t force myself to get one of Logitech’s current models. That second scroll wheel is in its self the best part of this mouse. If you can find one, buy it. You won’t be sorry...(continued)”
Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse Review – The Bottomline
The Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse was, and remains, one of the best wireless mice around. As it has since been officially discontinued, it is not easy to find in stores today, and its price has sky-rocketed. However, with its unique features that haven’t been replicated in other devices yet, it can still be well worth the investment if you do manage to find one.
